Mary Spill grew up in the farmland of Minnesota. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Biology from the University of Montana. She and her husband Jeff raised their four children on a cattle ranch in Northern New Mexico. She homeschooled her children through high school, also teaching biology and coaching a speech and debate team through a homeschool co-op. She and her family live in Round Hill, Va., and they attend Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg. Mrs. Spill loves long walks, reading, traveling, and meeting new people. She’s been teaching Cottage press language arts for six years, and can help with anything from Fable & Song to Poetics & Progym.
